Driving Hard is book 3 in G.A. Hauser’s Men in Motion series. These books stand alone and are connected by theme. Characters from Mile High the first book in the Men in Motion series make a brief appearance in Driving Hard.

Driving Hard has been my favorite by far in this scrumptious series. Logan and Jude are so delectable that I was sad when this book ended. Jude and his hang ups and fears about relationships, his sexuality, and even his career choice made him a very intriguing character.

Our poor guy has his life twisted, but at first he is almost willing to become the toy of the lustful family. But when he discovers that he is the bastard son of a Venetian patrician and an English opera singer, he suddenly feels necessary to go and find his root. While this is a bit fanciful, it serves Alexander’s story well. I was surprised that the publisher listed this book as science fiction for I didn’t find that to be accurate. What I discovered and enjoyed so much was that all the events are based in reality. It was engaging to see how Alexander could go from pathologically shy and insecure to rescuing people in trouble with the help of an interested boyfriend and a Corinthian helmet. One gives him self-confidence and the other allows him the freedom to express himself.

To make matters worse, this man, Mark Richfield is a very hoity, toity Englishman who immediately rubs Steve the wrong way. It doesn’t help that Mark is like a looks like an angel, but immediately sets up to antagonize Steve from the start. This hostility is noted by everyone and when the management team goes away for the weekend Steve and Mark are thrown together at every turn in the name of team cooperation.
