Adam Lewis and Jack Larsen meet when Adam needs a good lawyer to help him. He finds a lot more than he expects. Not only is Jack a lawyer, he’s an unattached stud and body builder. The two both feel the sparks flying.
G. A. Hauser just keeps giving us these excellent gay romances. This one is set among the glitter of Hollywood. But, no matter what the setting, this author knows how to build a relationship. The dialogue is great, especially when Adam deals with Mark, Jack’s ex. He tends to drop in whenever he feels like it with his new love. Steve, in tow. Jack isn’t getting over him so the author has Adam take matters in hand to help him.
When not building the love story and friendship between the couples, the author has Adam embroiled with his business partner who has been charged with unethical behavior for blackmailing clients. Sex for work is his motto. Seems Jack Turner just can’t get the message to leave Adam alone even with restraining orders against him. It escalates even more when other clients start coming forward to testify against Turner. Ms. Hauser shows us that Adam is just as strong as Jack in his own way as he deals with business, his ex partner and new relationships.
The love story between Adam and Jack, their friendship with Mark and Steve wraps around the legal wrangling. I really enjoy the dialogue, the setting, the romance. This author seems to be having fun with the story and that makes it even more fun for me to read.
