Asher Hudson had had enough. Rejected by his family, fired from his job, and recently severed from a relationship, Asher decided to find a place of solitude for contemplation and perhaps, something more sinister.
Lucas Mateo was a young hiker who loved to explore ancient structures he located on satellite maps. He’d then find them in person, videotaping his journey for his channel. When he discovered the tiny stone building he was aiming for after an arduous hike up a mountain was occupied, Lucas was stunned.
It was then the two men became trapped by a snowstorm and began to share their lives with each other. And the irony was that they were very much alike, even with a decade of time and space between them.
What Asher had never expected to find on his last day on earth, was a reason to want to stay just a little bit longer.
Love and hope. Sometimes they felt as foreign and distant as the space between the stars.
